And if I was a Child, and the Child was Enough, Enough for Me to Love, Enough to Love

So things have been going very well for me lately. I have been healthy in the past week and a half, no colds, no miserable days, nothing. I feel great! My doctor was happy with my progress when we saw her two weeks ago, and my physio and OT were also happy with my neck! I weight 22 pounds, 13 ounces now. I eat very well, continue to sleep very well, and am starting to walk! I am also learning to play the right way with toys, not just chew them and throw them. Its a fun stage for me and my mommy (and daddy too!). I like to climb on top of them and play on the floor with them. This past weekend my parents went out together at night and left me with my grandparents, great grandmother and uncle for a few hours. It was fun and I was really tired when they finally came to get me. I played a lot and Nonno had me run up the stairs a lot, plus Uncle Derek pushed me around the hall in my little car but he pushed me too hard and I fell off and cried. My mommy has been taking me to some new things, story time at the Port Moody Public Library (for 0-18 mos. olds) and the newest adventure, Motoring Munckins at the Queens Park Arenex! What fun! Last week we went went Megan and her twins but this week mommy took Grady and I and we had a blast. Its an open gym with a ton of toys and gymnastic mats and equipment for 1-6 year olds. We get to run (crawl) around for about an hour and 1/2 and it wears us out, but we get to learn new things and play with other kids! Mommy also took me to a play group at a lady down the street's house the other day. We didn't know anyone there but it was still nice to be in a new environment. There are tons of little kids on our street, so we have lots of neighbours with things in common, now, if we can only find the time to do all these activities! We have Grady here again tomorrow so if the weather is nice, we are going to play with some toys in the front yard, and if the weather is rainy, we may go to the play area at the mall. Posted by Picasa

I had made an entry a few days ago with this picture but it didn't show up for some reason. I don't remember everything I said, so I will just write a new one. It had been a nice, sunny day and we were playing outside with my car! Posted by Picasa

I'll be There When You're Sleeping and Every Hour You're Awake

WOW, its been almost a month since I posted on this blog! Sorry about that, I guess it's been the same old, same old recently. I don't want to get boring or repetitive or anything. I've been sick for most of February and March with about 3-4 colds and an ear infection. I had to be on antibiotics last month for seven days because I felt so awful and both my ears were infected. I've also had two colds since! Plus, I have four teeth growing in right now, so it hasn't been fun. I've been pumped with Tylenol and Dimetapp. I have taken a few first steps though, but I only do it for my mommy and daddy and I'm still very wobbly. My head tilt sure doesn't help. Last week when we saw my physiotherapist she was very happy with my improvement but its such a slow process and it now seems to be effecting the way I hold my jaw in place so mommy is watching me closely. We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning for my 15 month exam! I should be walking by now, oh well. We'll see what my doctor says and I get to find out exactly what I weigh again! Last month I was 22 pounds, 8 ounces, but because I've been so sick I may have lost since then. Yesterday, I slept all the way from 8:30 the night before until 12:15 the next day! Mommy had to wake me up, I was so exhausted and was catching up from the previous two nights where I was waking up all night coughing. Mommy has been taking me to storytime at the Port Moody library. Its fun and there's always lots of other babies between the ages of 0-18 mos. there. Last time they took out percussion muscial instruments so I got to bang things around that made noise...my favourite! Mommy is waiting for me to be cold-free so she can take me swimming again! Soon she'll be working (I know, I've been saying that for months but lucky for me, the store is so late opening so my mommy has been home longer than she expected, like 3 months longer). Anyway, that's it for now, I'll update you after my appointment. Peace out! Posted by Picasa
