She Will Call You, When She Needs You, You Know Where She Lives, The Imperial Hotel

This morning it snowed!!!! Not much, mind you, but it snowed up on top of our hill for a couple of hours and it was so cold. My mommy got a start to her Christmas shopping today and it was great because Nonno took me for a walk and I fell asleep for almost three hours so mommy went to Metrotown and didn't have to worry about pushing me around in the stroller through the crowds while I was screaming the whole time (like what usually happens). My mommy bought the soundtrack to that excellent movie, Walk the Line, that we saw last week and the music is so good so I got to listen to it on the way over to my grandparent's house. Tonight we saw Jody and all her hundreds of beautiful wedding photos and we wish we were all still in Maui, it was so much fun. Tomorrow we are meeting Tara and Luca for coffee and Tuesday I have to go back to the Hospital to have my neck collar tightened...not fun. On Wednesday my mommy is having dinner with Tracee so I will be having dinner with my grandparents again.  Posted by Picasa

Let's Go, Time's A Wastin'

Wow, it has been so long since I have been posting, so sorry about that. My mommy took me to see a movie today with Karen, Grady and Tara. We saw Walk the Line which was AWESOME! I highly recommend it because the music is wonderful and I loved it! It was the first time that I had been in a movie theatre and although it was really really loud, I had fun because I love watching a big screen and I also love music. I was a bit squirmy and a bit fussy, but nothing major. The hardest part was that I got my lunch all over me because it was hard to see and I pooed right in the middle of the movie and mommy had to take me out to change me and of course, there was no change station so I was changed on the bathroom counter which is very uncomfortable. Anyway, go see the movie! Johnny Cash was so cool. Since we have returned from Maui we have been busy little bees, as always. We've had lots of appointments (also as always) and lots of visits with friends. My parents are planning my birthday party for December 10, although my birthday is actually the 14th, and we are having friends over for pizza! I like pizza crusts and I bet Grady does to. We are having a Winnie the Pooh themed party because there are plenty of years ahead for princesses. Yesterday my mommy went to her office to give her notice that she is not going to return to work come January! She is going to stay home and take care of me!!!!!!!!!!!! Very cool and I am very happy. She will work part time and we are going to have Grady come over two days a week but daddy and I mostly get her to ourselves which will make our family life so much better. There is no way my mommy would ever get to work on time now anyway, not downtown. Something always happens just as we are trying to run out the door and its usually that I have pooed and require a last minute diaper change. Tonight, we are starting our Christmas shopping and on Friday, my nonna and mommy are taking me on a huge shopping adventure in the U.S. at the factory outlet mall in Tulalip! Mommy is looking forward to the Burberry store!

Time Makes You Bolder and Children Get Older and I'm Getting Older Too

So we just got back from Maui really really early this morning. It was the best time of my entire life (11 months so far)!!!! We had so much fun and my Godparents, Jody and Dario, had the most beautiful wedding! The weather was hot and humid and perfect everyday. I didn't sleep too much, and neither did my mommy, but I was in a pretty good mood the whole time aside from a few fussy periods, and I didn't freak out too much on the plane, not like the way to Ontario this past summer. The ride back was the best and I slept for three whole hours of the 5.5 hour flight! That meant that my parents only had to entertain me for two hours so I ate and watched a Baby Einstein dvd on our portable player and by the time I was through with that, it was time to descend. I didn't even cry when we were descending, not like on the way back from Ontario, but the kid behind us freaked out the whole time and he was crying and crying and I kept waking up. So, even though I was on my best behaviour, the poor people around us had to suffer through the crying of that other baby anyway. So, on Maui we walked around Kihei the first day and looked in some of the little shops, walked along the beach at Kamaole II, swam in the pool at the condo, visited the lava flow in Makena, went to Jody and Dario's fabulous wedding in Waliea at the most beautiful Grand Waliea Resort which was amazing! We swam in the pools there the next day and then later in the afternoon went to the beach and I played in the sand and ate it and got it stuck in my bum and my mommy had to spin me around upside down in the shower to remove it all, and then we had a pizza party down at the pool and on the last day, we went to Lahaina and walked along the main strip along the ocean and saw the biggest tree in the world which stood over 200 feet wide, and then we shopped at the mall and mommy bought some cool things and we raced like mad to the airport so we wouldn't be late because mommy had to shop at the last minute, and that was it. We left Maui at 30 degress at 5:30 pm yesterday and arrived home at 3 degrees at 1 am this morning. Ug. I will never remember this trip but I know it was the best time my family has spent together so far and I will always have great pictures to remember by. I love Maui, and I love my Compare (Godparents, in Italian), Jody and Dario and I wish them all the best in their marriage and their entire lives together. I love you guys! Thanks for sharing your special day with us and making us part of your wedding celebration and vacation and honeymoon in Maui! We can't wait to go back! Posted by Picasa

And the Summer Became the Fall, I Was Not Ready For the Winter, It Makes No Difference At All, Cause I Wear Boots All Summer Long

The past few days have been trying ones due to lack of sleep on my part. Not only did I not sleep much last night, but I haven't had my regular afternoon nap (up to 3 hours) in two days. I am congested with a cold and have a sore throat so its hard for me to stay sleeping because I can't breath. Therefore, I have been in a bad mood and so has mommy. The only time she can get things done is when I sleep, so if I don't sleep, well, you see what I mean. She did manage to do her floors today and even packed a suitcase for our trip! We leave on THURSDAY MORNING!!!!!!! WHOOO HOOOOO! I am going to be brat on the plane, I just know it. We went to see my great uncle in St Paul's Hospital yesterday because he fell and broke his hip and I was really fussy and screamed all the way home. Tomorrow Grady is coming over to be babysat by my mommy for a couple of hours and we'll see how much we cry together, because we like to cry at the same time and just stare at each other and freak out! Poor mommy. Daddy has a dentist appointment and then mommy has to run some errands for stuff we need for our trip! DID I TELL YOU WE LEAVE FOR MAUI ON THURSDAY!!!!!!! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOO! Jody and Dario (bride and groom) are already there! They left this morning. Anyway, on Wednesday we are finishing packing, dropping off the dogs and going to the bank for some U.S. cash and then on Thursday morning, WE LEAVE! Will update you when we return. Hope you are well and wish me luck on the plane! xo Posted by Picasa
