And A Black Widow Spider Makes More Sound Then She, And Black Moons in Those Eyes of Hers Made More Sense to Me

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I was Piglet, the Disney one. My costume actually does have ears although it doesn't look like it in the pictures. I was a total cranky pants today at my mommy's office Halloween Party. I hated wearing my costume and I fussed and squirmed and eventually FREAKED OUT forever, so it was not fun and my mommy could barely eat and talk with her work friends. I was hot and itchy in that big plush Piglet suit. When we finally left my mommy had a headache and was all stressed out when we got home and she yelled at my daddy. We went to my grandparent's house tonight and I slept for three hours (I soooo needed that) and then got back into my costume after dinner and I was in a much better mood so we took pictures. Only seven kids came to their door but none came to our door because we weren't home!  Posted by Picasa

My mommy cut my bangs and it looks like she put a bowl over my head and I look like a boy. AND, its not straight. Grrrrrr. Posted by Picasa

And When I Call Will You Walk Gently Through My Shadow

A wise man once said:

If you have a good blog, you probably have a bad job. if you have a good web site, you probably have a dull life; if you have a good job you probably have a bad blog, and if you have a bad site you're normal.

No pictures today, just words of wisdom :-)

Though Deep Set, And Somewhat Shadowed, Her Eyes, Her Mystery

Today Elaine brought Victoria and Sophia over and although I cried for like the first hour, we played on the floor together and watched Snow White and Cinderella and had lots of fun. I must be getting shy because now when I see another kid I stare at them and cry and cling to my mom for a long time before I get comfortable being around them. Two weeks today, we leave for Maui! How exciting! I have swimming tomorrow again which we missed last week because of Luca's baby shower. Halloween is coming up on Monday and I have a Piglet costume which fits me absolutely perfect. If I have grown the least since I last tried it on, it won't fit. We are going down tot he Halloween party at my mommy's work on Monday morning and then going to my grandparent's house for dinner. I will wear my Piglet costume for most of the day! Happy Halloween and safe Trick-or-Treating to all you kids out there!  Posted by Picasa

Ride The Wind, Never Going Back Until I Touch The Midnight Sun

I had so much fun last night learning how to ride my Little Tikes riding toy for the first time with no one holding on to me! I slid off a couple of times but nothing major, I just fell onto my side on my fluffy blanket anyway, but I am now crawling and standing alone all over the place! I still only have that one tooth coming in but its starting to make me wake up really early in the mornings sometimes. This week isn't as busy as last week was but we do have Karen and my boyfriend Grady coming over tomorrow and Elaine and Victoria and Sophia are coming over on Friday so I'll have lots of cool pictures to post! My mommy has gone all over Coquitlam Centre and Metrotown looking for new beige boots for me because I outgrew my other ones before I even wore them. No luck.  Posted by Picasa

Tale As Old As Time, Song As Old As Rhyme

This morning we watched Beauty and the Beast. Can you tell from my blog title today? Do you like my house? It's a blow up house from toys r us that my daddy bought for me! Its a good place for me to learn to crawl around because I'm contained in one spot but its squishy in case I topple over. Now that I have been crawling for a week I rarely topple over though and, I am now learning to stand! Sorry for the lack of updates, we have been so busy this week, we've had a full schedule almost everyday! We saw my doctor again in Kerrisdale on Monday and she is referring me to Children's Hospital for my neck, but we haven't heard when my first appointment is. My parents have decided to postpone my eye surgery which was scheduled for Dec 8 because they want to give it a bit more time to heal on its own first. I am happy about that! We just came home tonight from visiting with Tara and Claudio and Luca and there were lots of little kids there, all boys, so I got to play with them and they all liked my baby toys and boots. Tonight was the first time I wore my beige suede boots that my mommy got for me after we got back from Ontario in the summer and even though the foot part is still big on me, my legs are too chubby all of a sudden and we can't get the zippers up because they are too tight and it hurts me. Too bad because now I will never get to wear them and my mommy had bought me specific outfits to go with the boots! We can't exchange them either because I sucked on them. Tomorrow is Luca's baby shower so daddy is watching me for a few hours in the afternoon while mommy goes and watches Luca and all the ladies hovering over him and eating and Tara opening all the presents.  Posted by Picasa

Where Would You Go, If You Had the Time, Crossing Some Crazy State Line Somewhere

Wow, I didn't realize how long its been since I last updated! We have been really busy this week. On Wednesday we went to see Tara and baby Luca, actually, we had to go to their doctor with them because Tara has an infection and poor baby Luca had a yeast infection in his bum. Luckily I never had that but lucky for Luca that he doesn't have torticollis or a blocked tear duct! No, I'm not bitter. He is four weeks old today, time sure flies! While we were at their house I backed into the legs of the dining room table and couldn't get out and I sucked on their leather chair. Luca had explosive poos that you could hear across the room. Yesterday we started my Waterbabies II class at the huge Aquatic centre in Coquitlam. I like it there, its cool because they have theme pools and waves and things spraying and splashing all over the place, but its kind of scary at the same time. Plus, there are kids shoving and thrashing all over the place and we could barely hear the instructor and I kept getting sprayed in the face and knocked into. I prefer Chimo pool for my classes but they didn't have Saturday classes available for this fall. Maybe next time. Last night my boyfriend Grady and his parents were over to watch hockey and we played on the floor together as we always do and played with the Leap Frog Learning Table for the first time and he fell and bumped his head but I had also fallen earlier and bumped my head really hard and cried and screamed for 10 minutes. Today we are going to see my grandparents, its been a week since I saw them already. My tooth is coming in for sure, its above the gumline now and you can see it and feel it! Finally! Posted by Picasa

There Was No Message To Be Found Anywhere Inside, Inside or Out

I think I almost have a tooth. The skin appears to be breaking right at the front, on the bottom, so maybe in the next few days I will have one. Finally! I saw my physiotherapist today and my torticollis situation has worsened so I have to go to the Occupational Therapy department at BC Children's Hospital and get fitted for a neck collar....which SUCKS! As you can see from most of my pictures, I still have a head tilt, so I have to wear this thing for a few months to fix it. I also need to go back to see my physio every 2-4 weeks now. We thought we were finished with physio over the summer but it seems that is no longer the case. Plus, they scheduled my surgery for my blocked tear duct for December 8 already! Not looking forward to that, to say the least. Over the next few months I have tons of appointments scheduled now. A great thing happened today though, I completely crawled forwards across the floor at physio, all by myself!  Posted by Picasa

Ten Thousand Times, I've Tried to Tell You, When You Close Your Eyes, Well I Can't See Inside You

I got my ears pierced today, I am so happy with how they turned out. I went to Merle Norman and they did such an excellent job. My earrings are perfectly straight and I only cried for five seconds at the initial pain, but now, I am ok. My parents chose my birthstone for my new earrings, I am so excited at how pretty they look! Now I can be as pretty as Victoria and Sophia who both had their ears pierced by the time they were 6 months old! The mall was crazy busy for a Friday afternoon because the teachers are on strike today so all the kids ended up at the mall rather than being at school, its just like it was during the summer. Its a long weekend because its Thanksgiving and my daddy has to work but we are having dinner at my grandparent's house on Monday with my great aunt and second cousins! Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone! Posted by Picasa

I've Got Two Tickets To Paradise, Won't You Grab Your Things We'll Leave Tonight

Today was so much fun and so busy and exciting! It was my godparents, Jody and Dario's wedding shower, so his mom and dad threw a party for family and friends in Burnaby at a clubhouse. There were lots of people and food and I got spoiled with attention and people loved to hold me and talk funny to me and looked at me so I was in my glory. I never got bored and never got cranky, even though I didn't get milk for like seven hours, but I got other food instead. They got some really nice presents and because Jody is a chef, most of the stuff was either Kitchenaid or Cuisinart...lucky bums! Anyway, Dario's family are all so very nice and next month we are off to Maui to party with them all for the big wedding!!!!! WHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO! Posted by Picasa
