There is Magic, All Around You, Every Time You Walk in the Room

Do you like my capri pants? I am so close to crawling, any day now really. I guess my mommy should enjoy it while it lasts that I don't crawl because once I do, I will certainly be getting into everything. I already am. I like to shove wet cloths in my mouth and suck the water out, gross I know but it feels good on my gums! My teeth haven't come through yet. Yesterday we went to see all of my mommy's co-workers. They tell her that they can't wait for her to come back to work in January because they miss shopping at the stores on South Granville St with her. Plus, they have opened a Liberty store and a Moxie's restaurant in the neighbourhood so they told her that when she gets back, they will take her for lunch there. The Director of her department was away on vacation so mommy changed my diaper and nursed me in his office. haha, he would be mortified if he knew that. So, this morning we were packing up to go to Tara's house and mommy noticed that one of the pets had peed on my really nice OshGosh floor blanket. That has never happened before, thank goodness, because she was livid and she was ready to call a pet rescue agency on them. Daddy said that he thinks it was the cat but it didn't smell bad enough to be the cat's pee. Mommy washed the blanket and all the toys that were laying on it and they came out clean and don't smell so that is good, but she had to clean the rug that was underneath it as well because it had soaked through.

Do you remember me telling you about the girl who works with my mommy, Lisa, who was having the baby with the same, horrible degenerative disease that had taken her first baby girl two years ago? Well, she had her second baby girl, Scarlett Rose, just last week. Scarlett will be beginning extensive treatment for the horrible disease (Krabbe's) including chemotherapy and stem cell transplant very soon. If you are interested in seeing her adorable face you can see her website at http://www.chloeisabel.com/Scarlett-Rose.html and there is also a link to Chloe's (their first beautiful baby girl) website and her tragic story. Mommy and I think about Scarlett all the time and hope and pray that the treatment will work in her fight against the disease.
