You Come Running Out in the Wind With Me, the Ocean is Your Blanket

Daddy came back the other day and didn't bring me back anything from his trip :-( We have been so busy these last few days so I haven't been writing much. On Monday we met with my mommy's pregnant friend Tara and shopped at Babies R Us, the Maternity Store, and Bowring! We had lunch at Cactus Club. On Tuesday we went to West Van with my Nonna and then had dinner over there. Wednesday my mommy got all her cleaning done and I got to catch up on naps, and yesterday we went to Elaine's and I got to visit with Victoria and Sophia and watch Treehouse and play in the sprinkler! We had so much fun while mommy and Elaine talked and gossiped and ate (as usual). They live far away though (Surrey) so we always leave early in the morning to get there and we always get stuck in traffic on the way back. My daddy installed my new car seat which is great and works really well now that I am bigger but it goes right against the edge of the seat rather than the centre which means the sun is always in my face now. My mommy put up those shade things in the window but it still shines through. At least summer is here and we get to do things outside now! Yeah summer! Posted by Picasa

Her Smile Got Me Through the Day, Every Night I'd Pray, That I Could Give Her Enough

My daddy is leaving today for camping for a few days and it will just be me, my mommy and Pablo and Arctica. We will miss him, but we are going to be busy everyday that he is gone, and the more we stay out of our house, the less messy it will get and the less cleaning my mommy will have to do. The only problem is that we will have to buy our own gas while he is away. I told you we would miss you daddy. Posted by Picasa

Here I Am, On the Road Again

I like to make a mess and daddy likes to cut all heads off in pictures. So, its been a while since I last wrote, here is what we have been up to. Went for three long walks, met up with Tara at Toys R Us to go shopping (was so much fun because I got a turtle sandbox for next summer and a Leap Frog Learning Table, which my mommy had to take back for an english one because the one she grabbed off the shelf was french), we have ran several errands, visited with my grandparents and just been busy as usual. Today mommy picked up our latest portraits from the studio from my baptism and they turned out really good. We have lots of copies to bring to our family in Ontario when we go out next month. It's finally summer here now though and I love to be outside, it makes me happy and generally puts me in a better mood. I nap more often too, which is always a good thing for my mommy. The weekend is here again and daddy is going away camping for a few days. Posted by Picasa

And I Feel, Like I Just Got Home

Ok so we're back from our week away in the Okanagan. I got to go swimming at the Waterslide park, and go to the beach where it was hot and sandy, and I got to sit at the campfire and see farm animals too! There were baby goats which were so cute and there were lots of other kids (real kids, not baby goats) there. Some of the kids (real kids) even stayed in the petting zoo with the animals because their cabin was situated inside the zoo! hehe. Daddy has some nice friends and everyone was very friendly and fun. The drive was good and not too long, except we hit lots of traffic on the way home and my mommy got really cranky; so did I. Mommy thought our cabin was sinking because she always felt like she was on a boat when she moved in our cabin, but as it turns out, she still feels like that now and we are home, so maybe she has some head virus or something. I like to travel but I am tired. I slept through the night up there but I never napped because I didn't want to miss anything. I have been sleeping a lot today just trying to catch up. We may go away again next month but this time on an airplane! I can't wait!  Posted by Picasa

Goodbye Baby, I Hope Your Heart's Not Broken

As you can see from the wet spot to my right side, the towel underneath me was a good idea on my mommy's part, however, it didn't work too well because my pee soaked in to the carpet anyway. We are going to be away for a few days so I'll write when we get back. Take care everybody! Posted by Picasa

Baby Days Slip by so Fast, But in Our Hearts They Always Last

We have been busy again the past couple of days. I had my physiotherapy yesterday and Brenda said I only have to go one more time. My torticollis is pretty much working itself out, and I continue to improve every week! We did some shopping on Monday and my mommy took me to Robson Street in Vancouver! How exciting it was, but busy and expensive. On Tuesday my parents decided that we should go to Ontario next month to meet all the Tuck family on my daddy's side. I hope I'm ok on the plane. It will be exciting to spend time over there and meet all my family. I am growing up so fast that before you know it, I will no longer be a baby, but a child. Today, well we walked with Jody this morning and I got a really good hour and 1/2 nap this afternoon, so I was pretty good today. We met Elaine and Sophia at Toys R Us in Metrotown and shopped for a couple of hours there before going to my grandparents house for dinner. We won't see them now until two Sundays from now because we are going to Kelowna next week on a camping trip. Should be fun, I hope its warm so we can swim! Booo to the rain. My mommy sent some photos of me to a talent agency trying to land me a gig or something. Wish me luck, it would be fun but we aren't counting on it and if we don't get a call well that's ok too. Its all for fun anyway because it doesn't matter what I look like as long as I'm a good person. Peace out. Wait a minute, I don't even know what that means. Posted by Picasa

You Live by the Light of the Moon, I Live by the Light of Desire

Tonight my boyfriend Grady came over to see me finally. We saw each other last weekend but before then it had been months since we saw each other. I cannot live with him being so distant. Anyway, my parents looked into a day care for me to go to part time today and they were really happy with the lady they met. Karen and John may book Grady in there also so then we can see each other all the time! Everyone came over to my parent's house for a bbq tonight for Canada Day, too bad the weather was bad. Arctica killed a squirrel in the back yard today and it was lying there for hours with its tail straight up in the air before Daddy went and removed it. I'm surprised Pablo didn't eat it but I guess he had to draw the line somewhere, thank God it was at a dead rodent.  Posted by Picasa
